Spotlight Magazine
Project overview
Spotlight Magazine is a 20-page printed, magazine-style publication produced by Optum for GP practices, bringing together multiple articles, practical content and lighter editorial features within a clear, accessible layout. The project required careful handling of large volumes of copy, strong typographic hierarchy and close collaboration with the marketing lead to recommend content refinements that supported clarity, accessibility and design integrity.
Alongside leading the overall design, I commissioned and directed a bespoke cover illustration, working with an illustration designer to create a distinctive visual approach aligned to the magazine’s Summer issue and product theme. The final publication was printed and distributed to over 3,600 GP practices.
